In a dominant display, world No. 193 Mio Shimabukuro from Japan won the 2025 Eugene Investment & Securities Seoul Open International Men’s Singles Tennis Tournament, defeating No. 161 Coleman Wong of Hong Kong 2-0 (6-4 6-3) in the final.

“I’m happy to win. It was nice to make the last day the best day,” said Shimabukuro, who also praised the local support, adding, “I’m glad I didn’t go to the third set; it was too cold.”

With this victory, Shimabukuro’s world ranking is expected to rise to No. 157, nearing his career-high of No. 135.
