Japanese Judo Master Yusho Oshima Boosting Athlete Preparation at Judo Samurai Jesi

ARE YOU – Il maestro Yusho Oshima della Tsukuba University – one of the most prestigious Japanese universities – is a guest of the Judo Samurai of Jesi for three months in an ambitious project that the sports club is carrying out to increase the preparation of its athletes involved in the competitive discipline.

Master Oshima, 27 years old, second in the absolute championships of Japan, is alternating in the five gyms in the province where Judo Samurai Jesi operates: in addition to Palatriccoli, those of Chiaravalle, Staffolo, Senigallia and San have been added over the years. Marcello, for an activity that involves over 300 registered athletes, of which around thirty are involved in official competitions at a national level.

Accompanied by the president of Judo Samurai of Jesi Paola Paradisi and the coach Andrea Coppari, the Japanese coach was received in the Municipality by the mayor Lorenzo Fiordelmondo and the sports councilor Samuele Animali who had the opportunity to learn about the activity being carried out by the company and the objectives that this interesting project sets itself.

Mayor Fiordelmondo, in welcoming the Japanese master, said he was certain that this exchange of experiences between techniques from such different schools could represent an element of growth not only in sport, but also in mutual knowledge, for a discipline that in Jesi is carried out at the highest levels with important results, thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of an entire movement which over time has cultivated and enhanced the educational and cultural enrichment and comparison role of martial arts and judo in particular.
