Jannik Sinner was actually supposed to play his opening match in Miami against Andrea Vavassori on Friday evening (from 6:30 p.m. CET). But due to the constant rain in Florida, the match was postponed.

All matches could not be played on Friday. It wasn’t until the evening (CET) that it slowly stopped raining. Jannik Sinner’s match against the Italian Andrea Vavassori is scheduled to start shortly before midnight, i.e. on Friday from 11.30 p.m. (CET), following Coco Gauff’s game.

Sinner has been in Miami for a few days and also visited the Italian national team in the football stadium there. On Thursday evening, the Pusterer sat in the stands as a lucky charm during the Azzurri’s win against Venezuela.
