Welsh Golfer Secures Thrilling Victory in Spain

Jamie Donaldson of Wales claimed the title at the Staysure Marbella Legends, concluding at the Aloha Golf Club in Marbella, Spain. A crucial birdie on the final hole proved to be the deciding factor in a tightly contested tournament.

Donaldson finished with a total score of 203 (-13), narrowly defeating fellow 2014 Ryder Cup teammate Stephen Gallacher by one stroke. Gallacher delivered a strong performance, finishing with a 65.

“You get to the conclude of your career on tour and you think it’s all over. But then you turn 50 and suddenly you’re one of the youngest again, you’re back competing and starting over. It’s a very nice thing and there aren’t many professions where you can do that,”
