The first day, in fact, recorded three first places with Pietro Andreini in the 60 kg, Alessio De Luca in the 66 kg , Sara Corbo in the 63 kg, two third places with Alessandro Bicorgni in the 66 kg, Federico Bosis in the 73 kg.

“Sprint start for this young Italy which demonstrates the excellent work done by the clubs. -was the comment of Salvatore Ferrocontact person for the Italian national team –

Andreini, De Luca and Corbo dominated their categories with cunning and intelligence and not least were Bicorgni and Bosis who, despite an excellent race, had to settle for bronze. A bit of regret for the numerous fifth places today which could easily have been just as many medals”.
