Italian Paralympic Committee – Paralympic Games Paris 2024, day 10: the competition program

The swimming team is still chasing heavy medals on the tenth day of competitions at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
At 9.35, at the Defense Arena, for the heats of the men’s 200 medley SM10, Stefano Raimondi and Riccardo Menciotti are in the pool, then it’s Antonio Fantin’s turn in the men’s 100 backstroke S6 (9.55), Arianna Talamona. in the 100 backstroke S6 women’s (9:59), Alberto Amodeo in the men’s 100m butterfly S8 (10:13), Giulia Terzi in the women’s 50m butterfly S7, Federico Cristiani in the men’s 50m backstroke S4 (10:38), Emmanuele Si Marigliano and Vincenzo Boni in the 200m freestyle S3 men (11.12), Giulia Ghiretti and Monica Boggioni in the 200 medley SM5 women (the first in the pool at 11.20, the second at 11.35). The finals are scheduled to start at 5:30 pm. Direct final, however, for the 4×100 freestyle relay 34 points (8.34pm).
In cycling, in Clichy-sous-bois, Giorgio Farroni will participate in the T1-2 road race (12.45), while at 3 pm the Italians will compete in the Mixed H1-5.
At the Grand Palais, for fencing, at 10 am, the men’s and women’s epee teams will be on stage for the round of 32.
At the Vaires-sur-Marne Stadium, the canoe will face off in the semi-finals with Esteban Gabriel Farias in the men’s 200m KL1 (10:07), Christian Volpi in the men’s 200m KL2 (10:21), Veronica Silvia Biglia in the women’s 200m VL2 ( 10:28 ), Kwadzo Klokpah in men’s 200m KL3 (10.42).
For weightlifting, the only Italian competing in La Chapelle Arena is Andrea Quarto in up to 97kg (6.35pm).
Great performance at Stade de France for athletics competitions. At 11:28, in the women’s 100 meters T63, Monica Contrafatto and Ambra Sabatini were 1st (11:28), Martina Caironi in heat 2 (11:34). Possible final at 9:37pm. In the men’s 200 meters T64, Maxcel Amo Manu will participate in heat 1 (12:1), Fabio Bottazzini in heat 2 (12:17). Possible finals at 7:51pm.
Three Italian judo players on the tatami of the Champ-de-Mars Arena: Valerio Romano Teodori in the qualification of the men’s -90kg J1 (9.30), Carolina Costa in the quarter-finals of the women’s +70kg J2 (9.54), Simone Cannizzaro in the quarter-finals in men’s -90kg J2 category (10:24).
For horse riding, at the Chateau de Versailles, in the Individual Freestyle Grade I, Carola Semperboni and Sara Morganti competed at 1.06pm and 1.42pm respectively. Francesca Salvadè instead faces Grade III competitions (16:27).
