The program aims to massify school sports in the Dominican Republic
and identify emerging athletic talent, offering specialized clinics in various disciplines.
Renowned athletes and specialized coaches provided technical guidance in each discipline, strengthening sports skills and promoting values such as discipline, teamwork and healthy competition.

Mayerlin Mejía Inspires Young Athletes
Pan American medalist Mayerlin Mejía motivated athletes from the University Taekwondo League of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) during an event at the Hugo Tolentino Dipp Experimental High School.
In Santiago, a basketball clinic was held at the Genaro Pérez School, led by coaches Ruddy Martínez and Víctor Peña, focusing on fundamental techniques and comprehensive student development.

Ruperto Ruck, INEFI’s Northern regional coordinator, emphasized that the project aligns with President Luis Abinader’s guidelines and is spearheaded by INEFI’s executive director, Alberto Rodríguez Mella.

- Promoting healthy habits in youth
- Strengthening comprehensive student training
Support from the Ministry of Education
Executives from the Ministry of Education, including district director Richard Báez, deputy director Wendy Liriano, assistant technician Lorenzo Burgos and district technician Henry Luzón, praised the initiative and its positive impact on the educational community.
The activities were conducted with enthusiasm and high student participation, reinforcing INEFI’s commitment to sports and educational development in the Dominican Republic.
