The welcoming words were given by Lincoln Minaya, who stated that basketball tournaments of this nature should be held more often, so that the athletes can show their abilities on the courts.
The central speech was given by the president of the sports event Francisco Valentín, who emphasized in his speech that the players must respect the technical table, the referees, this basketball tournament ended successfully in this city of Tenares.
Valentín asked the basketball athletes to work hard on the court and give one hundred percent of their talent, offering the public a good show with good plays and dunks.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Tenares, Kelvin Herrera, said that he supports the basketball tournament, to keep the minds of the youth busy.

The team that is proclaimed the champion of this sporting event will get a beautiful cup, donated by the sports movement of the municipality of Tenares.
The sporting oath was given by the athlete from the Mirabal Sisters team, Cristhopher Tejada, who encouraged the athletes to compete competently and respect the decisions of the referees.
