The Play-In Tournament, which includes popular teams such as the Lakers, 76ers, Warriors, and Heat, will kick off the postseason on Tuesday, April 16 and continue through Friday, April 19. Just a reminder of the format of the Play-In tournament: teams ranked 7th and 8th in each conference will compete, as well as teams ranked 9th and 10th. The winner of the 7th-8th game will secure the 7th seed, while the loser will face the winner of the 9th-10th game for the 8th seed.
As of now, four series have been determined for the first round: Timberwolves versus Suns, Clippers versus Mavericks, Bucks versus Pacers, and Cavaliers versus Magic. The NBA has released the dates for these series, but the specifics for the first weekend of the playoffs have yet to be announced.
