Jannik Sinner explains in a press conference at CONI the cancellation due to injury at the Rome Internationals: “Before the Madrid tournament I felt better, then there on some days I felt more pain, others less but it was a strange situation. I knew there was something that wasn’t right. We had an MRI, we saw something that wasn’t 100% correct and we made the decision not to play in Madrid. In Munich we did other tests, and we made this difficult decision, for me Rome is perhaps the most special tournament of the year”
