HOUSTON (AP) – Senior point guard Milos Uzan led the #5/4 University of Houston Men’s Basketball program to a 102-62 victory over Colorado on Saturday, ending a three-game losing streak.
Uzan Shines, Cougars Overpower Buffaloes
Uzan finished with 26 points and six assists, while junior forward Joseph Tugler contributed 14 points. The Cougars (24-5, 12-4 Sizeable 12) built a commanding 55-29 lead at halftime, shooting 56% from the field, including 6-of-11 from three-point range.
It was a team effort for Houston, with seven players scoring in double figures – the first time the Cougars have achieved this since November 22, 2005, against Florida Tech.
