Construction of the Henri HiroSports Complex for Tahiti 2027 Begins
The first stone of the future Henri Hiro sports complex was laid yesterday, signaling the start of construction for the badminton and table tennis venues for the Tahiti 2027 Pacific Games.
Infrastructure Overview
- The new complex will host four badminton and eight table tennis courts for competition, along with six badminton and eight table tennis courts for schools.
- Covering a surface area of 1,900 m2, the complex will accommodate up to 400 people, including eight places for people with reduced mobility.

After the Games, the two 25-meter and 50-meter pools will be repurposed and reopened for use in Taravao and Pirae, benefiting schools and communities.
