Henan Female Athlete Clinches Silver at National Judo Championships in Dahe Mobile

Report from this newspaper (Reporter Huang Hui, intern Ma Xuefei) The reporter learned from the Henan Provincial Heavy Competition Aviation Sports Center that on April 6, the 2024 “Sports Lottery Cup” National Judo Championship ended in Qian’an, Hebei, and Henan players won a silver medal.

This five-day competition is hosted by the Weightlifting Wrestling Judo Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration and the China Judo Association. It is one of the highest-level and highest-level domestic judo events in the year, attracting athletes from many places and some sports colleges across the country. 34 teams and more than 630 athletes participated. The competition consists of men’s individual competition, women’s individual competition and mixed male and female team competition. There are seven levels for men and women in the individual competition. In the mixed team competition, each team sends 6 male and female athletes of different levels to participate. Both the individual competition and the mixed team competition adopt the International Judo Federation competition rules, and the competition system is a single elimination quarter-resurrection system.

In the women’s +78kg competition, Henan player Jia Bingqian won second place and Wang Kaixuan won seventh place.
