Guadalajara Teen Sofía Hernández Wins Bronze in Pan American Judo, Aims for Olympic Dream in Los Angeles 2028

Sofía Viansce Hernández Carranza from Guadalajara is very excited after obtaining bronze in the Pan American Judo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
At only 15 years old, he dreams of continuing to succeed, although he accepts that the leap from competing nationally and suddenly internationally is not easy.
“Everything has been a process, first the state, then national and then at the international level in Pana, it was an important leap, as if I am already in international competition, it has been hard, but I have enjoyed a lot at the same time it has been of learning with good and bad days at the same time.”
He adds that fundamental is “the support of my entire family and my coach that gives me the strength to continue, I will have the National Games in Campeche coming up and I must win gold.” Then the young woman from Jalisco will have a Judo World Cup in Peru in the month of August.
