The ASD Judo Kodokan Empoli celebrates a shower of medals obtained by its athletes on the occasion of the I Sergio Carta memorial, held in Bagno a Ripoli last weekend. On Saturday the little judokas took part in the competition and obtained 6 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. On Sunday, however, the athletes belonging to the junior, senior, rookie B and cadet categories obtained 3 gold medals, 5 silver medals, 1 bronze medal, thus gaining 5th position out of 67 companies in the general ranking !
Furthermore, on the occasion of his 67th birthday, Master Marco Calugi of Judo Kodokan Empoli received a prestigious recognition from the Italian Judo Wrestling Karate Arts Federation (FILJLKAM), namely the title of Meritorious Master for the experience acquired and technical skills, especially in the context of Kata.
