Granollers, Spain, is gearing up to host an exhilarating badminton event this weekend – the first Absolute Master of the season. The tournament will take place at the Congost Municipal Pavilion and promises to showcase breathtaking skills from 94 of the best players in Spain.

Organizers and Backers

Associació Granollers Esportiva is at the helm of the competition, with crucial support from the Catalan Badminton Federation and Spanish Badminton Federation. The event also boasts the institutional backing of Granollers’ City Council, the Generalitat of Catalonia, the Unió de Federacions Esportives de Catalunya (UFEC), and the Higher Sports Council (CSD).

National Representation

Players from across Spain will descend upon Granollers, representing autonomous communities such as Aragon, Asturias, the Valencian Community, Madrid, Galicia, Castilla-La Mancha, Navarra, Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, Castilla y León, the Canary Islands, and Catalonia.

Event Details

The action kicks off on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and wraps up on Sunday around 1:00 p.m., with the decisive rounds, including semi-finals and finals, taking place between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.. The awards ceremony will follow immediately after.
