A return to the recent past with a special classification, that of the Intergiro, which will further enliven the 2024 Giro d’Italia in the intermediate stages and will be sponsored by Sara Assicurazioni which for the sixth consecutive year is linked to the Gazzetta race. An important finish line (one per stage excluding the time trial stages) because it will award bonuses of 3″ – 2″ – 1″ valid for the General Individual classification to the first three classified and points 12 – 8 – 6 – 5 – to the first eight classified 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 valid for the General Points classification.

Furthermore, by assigning the same points, a final daily and general ranking called “Intergiro” will be established. The rewards up for grabs are prestigious: a cash prize, a safe driving course offered by Sara and a trophy, specially created for the occasion, in the shape of a flower, like the iconic logo of the Company. Support for BiciScuola was also confirmed, the educational project aimed at primary school students in the provinces affected by the Giro d’Italia to promote the values of sport, environmental and road education.
