George Mason Women’s Tennis Falls to Howard in Close Contest
Burke, Va. – The George Mason women’s tennis team battled hard but ultimately fell to the Howard Bisons with a final score of 4-2.
Patriots Secure Doubles Point
The Patriots started strong, winning the doubles point. The team of Noelle Talarek
and Ravaka Ramanantoanina secured a victory at No. 3 doubles, followed by Cenan Liu and Mary Young at No. 1.
Singles Competition Sees Mixed Results
Howard responded by winning three of the six singles matches. Franchesca Brown defeated Maitree Rout, and Camile Hall defeated Mary Young. Although, Cenan Liu delivered a comeback performance, defeating Amani Jean in a three-set match.
Selah Stibbins secured a win for Howard over Noelle Talarek at the No. 4 singles position, and Dana Hall defeated Brooklyn Siegel at No. 5, sealing the victory for the Bisons.
