There will be two days full of yoga, nature and deep connection in Geeste at the end of August 2024. The first open-air yoga event will take place at the reservoir. The event will be organized on Saturday and Sunday, August 24th and 25th, 2024, by the Karma yoga school from Lingen and the Michayoga yoga school from Meppen. “We want to breathe, stretch and meditate together in the open air to experience the deep wisdom of yoga,” they say.

There is a full program on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. There will be SUP yoga, for example. Yoga exercises are performed on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) on the water. The unstable surface of the water requires increased attention, balance and concentration.

Melodies that invite you to dance

The “Mindful Dance Journey” combines dance movements with mindfulness exercises, and in the “Chakras” workshop, participants are introduced to the world of the seven main chakras, which represent central energy centers in the body. The 2024 open-air event will end on Saturday evening with yoga music and melodies that are intended to invite you to dance.

Tickets are available on the website yogaopenair.de Available from 15 euros.
