The general assembly saw around thirty members and volunteers, out of the 648 members across ten sports and cultural sections, gather to assess the year gone by and plan for the future. President Cathy Le Corvic-Duval underscored the association’s strength, saying, “We remain a viable structure, supported by invested people” after a relatively calm year following three intensive ones.

Sports Sections: Ambitions and Challenges

  • Gymnastics: With high ambitions for the French championships, the section faces the challenge of the Kerlano hall’s insufficient space. This season saw two interclub meetings, a gala, and three new meetings scheduled for 2026.
  • Judo: Despite a slight drop in numbers post-Olympic momentum, the judo section praised the remarkable journey of Jeanne Alonso, a blind judoka qualified for the Brittany championships against able-bodied competitors. Eighteen-year-old Marine Quéré also earned her black belt.

Other Sections and Plans

  • Badminton: Badminton stabilizes with a new schedule, aiming to maintain its partnership with the Kervignac club and investing in new jerseys.
  • Sophrology: The Curie room remains noisy despite noise-reducing efforts, and a time difference issue persists.
  • Genealogy, Photos, History, Digital: These sections face challenges like lack of space, participants, and resources. Despite these hurdles, the genealogy section lacks space, while the history section is trying to engage young people. The photo section maintains its exhibition at Notre-Dame-du-Voeu high school, and the digital section welcomed two new volunteers.
