This competition is organized for 2 days, Saturday and Sunday, in stableford format, golfers can play one or two rounds, the best card is kept for ranking.
The weather was good and the municipal grounds team repaired the bunkers that had been damaged by heavy rains in the past few weeks. Result: François Rousselin won the gross prize with 21 points.
Net 1st series men, Didier Bouthiere (31) Goulven Poudelet (31) Guy Goussard (29)
Net ladies series: Julie Petite (31) Laurence Bohy (31) Evelyne Wirth (28)
Net 2nd men’s series: Gautier Billard (39) François Lecointe (37) Eric Janot (36)

The captain of the games especially congratulated the young Gautier, who attends the golf school, on the one hand for his score of 39, the best net of the two days, and for his bronze medal in Saône-et-Loire games in Avoise last week.

Note: the unique participation in the field of Olivier Bondeau, now associated full time with his daughter Marlène, manager for almost 5 years, who rarely has time to train.

After the awards ceremony on the terrace, the bistro team organized a dinner concert with the help of the Digoinais group ELESYS.
The golfers, joined by some non-golf customers in the restaurant, enjoyed the evening more, both for the music and the buffet.
Surely this sporting and festive competition will remain in the annals of Autun Golf Club.

Next Sunday; Mother’s Day ranking cup and on June 2, Manu de Sousa will give the prizes.
