In a very relaxed atmosphere where joy could be read on every face, Alassane OUATTARA President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, received this Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Palace of the Presidency, the officials of the Ivorian Football Federation ( FIF), the members of the Elephants technical staff and all the winning players of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
In addition to the President of the Republic, members of the Government were also present at this awards ceremony, headed by the Prime Minister, Minister in charge of Sports and Living Environment.
“The Head of State, First Captain of the Elephants, very happy with the results to which you invited us, instructs me to make the following announcements to you » declared Robert BEUGRÉ-MAMBÉ Prime Minister, in charge of Sports and Living Environment, before adding:
- For the Ivorian Football Federation: An envelope of 300 million CFA francs
- For the technical staff: An envelope of 400 million CFA francs
- For Coach Faé EMERSE: An envelope of 100 million CFA francs
- For each player: A Villa worth 50 million CFA francs + an envelope of 50 million CFA francs
