Antoine Bellier ends his career immediately. The 27-year-old Genevan made the announcement on Friday on his social media, without giving an explanation.
“After 10 years of working as a community manager, it’s time for me to step down. The journey has been interesting; representing my country in the Davis Cup and participating in the qualification for 4 Grand Slam tournaments gave me unforgettable memories“, he writes.
Currently 347th in the ATP rankings, Antoine Bellier rose to 168th in April 2023. He has only played 13 matches on the main circuit, including four matches played in the Davis Cup. He also won the fifth game against Uzbekistan in the finals in 2016.
The left-hander won two titles on the Challenger stage, in San Luis Potosi in 2022 and in Ismaning at the end of 2023. He signed his big deal in June 2022, reaching the final of the ATP 250 tournament on Mallorcan grass, hitting four top 100 – including top 20, Pablo Carreño Busta – in the process.
