Fantasy Baseball Two-Start Pitchers: Week in Review

Must Start

  • Luis Morales (ATH, STL, LAA) – Morales has been fantastic in his last three starts and gets to pitch in pitcher-friendly parks for both of his outings. Start him everywhere.
  • Jacob Misiorowski (MIL) – The Brewers have a comfortable lead in the NL Central, so they could pull Misiorowski early in both of his starts. Still, he has high strikeout upside and should get a win in one of his outings.
  • Charlie Morton (DET) – Morton gets the benefit of a great matchup against the Mets and a decent matchup against the White Sox. He should provide you with wins and quality starts.

Should Start

  • Parker Messick (CLE) – Messick has been impressive since his debut and gets two challenging matchups this week. He’s still worth starting in most leagues, though.
  • Yusei Kikuchi (LAA) – Kikuchi is a great streamer this week with a decent start against the Astros and a great start at home against the A’s. He’s a must-start in deeper leagues.

Here We Go

  • Bailey Ober (MIN) – Ober has been terrible this season, but he faces the White Sox and the Royals in a pitcher’s park this week. If he can limit the damage, he could provide two decent starts.
  • Luis Garcia (HOU) – Garcia is returning from Tommy John surgery and hasn’t pitched against major league hitters this season. If he can go five innings, he has a great chance to win his start against the Angels.
  • Walker Taijuan Walker (PHI) – Taijuan Walker has pitched well over the last month and could get you a win at the back end of the week in deeper leagues.
  • Mike Burrows (PIT) – The Pirates have been using Burrows as a reliever lately, so he might not get both of his projected starts. If he does, he could provide you with two decent outings.
