European Judo Stars to Compete in Poreč Cadet European Cup 2026
Poreč, Croatia – February 24, 2026 – The Poreč “Millennium Team” Cadet European Cup 2026 is set to showcase the next generation of judo talent, bringing together over 750 athletes from approximately 30 nations. The competition will take place from February 28th to March 1st in Poreč, Croatia.

The event is a crucial stage in the European Judo Union (EJU) circuit, providing a platform for young athletes to prove themselves. The competition is positioned as one of the most competitive tournaments in Europe for cadet-level judokas.
Event Schedule
The competition will be divided into two days of intense action:
- Saturday, February 28th: Men’s categories -50 kg, -55 kg, -60 kg, and -66 kg; Women’s categories -40 kg, -44 kg, -48 kg, and -52 kg.
- Sunday, March 1st: Men’s categories -73 kg, -81 kg, -90 kg, and +90 kg; Women’s categories -57 kg, -63 kg, -70 kg, and +70 kg.
Training Camps Follow Competition
Following the European Cup, Poreč will also host the EJU Cadet Training Camp from March 2nd to 4th, offering participants the opportunity to further develop their skills and train with peers from across Europe. A similar training camp will also be held in Samorin, Slovakia from February 16th-18th, 2026.
