Elan sportif de boxe Nîmes (ESBN) has existed since 2014. Created by Marine Mornet-Hmakkadour, three-time French kickboxing champion, the association offers courses for men, women and children. During school holidays, it offered a multi-sport course for 26 children aged 7 to 14.

Archery, table tennis, badminton, trampoline, boxing, climbing, run and bike, sports course and others, the objective was to allow young people to learn several sports but also to get out of their routine, and for some of their games console while moving and sharing while having fun.

“We operate at Mas de Mingue, in the Grézan area and in Valdegour. We do not have a fixed room”, explains Youssef Hmakkadour, coach of the association. For the Easter holidays, the results are more than positive: “The children were fulfilled, they wanted to surpass themselves and it strengthened the bonds between them”, he comments. Parents have also seen the beneficial effects.

For the next school year, ESBN has planned three parent and child multisport slots at the same place and at the same time: “Children in primary school who are looking for themselves will be able to try out several sports, which we will change every six weeks. The added value would also be to welcome children in nursery school who could work on motor skills, linked to sport and development”develops Youssef.
