We practice yoga in the tradition of BKS Iyengar. It is a physical practice, but the goal is not to balance on the head, nor to contort oneself. It’s not a gymnastic work-out either.
Yoga is work from within; of consciousness and connection with our body, our mind and our breathing. We learn to listen to ourselves, to create energy systems that bring us physical and mental well-being. The practice is precise and rigorous. We use supports such as ropes, blocks and walls to better understand and perform asanas (physical postures) in a safe way for everyone.
We invite you to share this practice whether you are a beginner or experienced and whatever your age.
