Egyptian Single-Leg Football Player Mahmoud Abdel Azim Reveals Journey to Establish First Team and Compete Internationally

Mahmoud Abdel Azim “Azima”, the Egyptian single-leg football team player, revealed his journey in establishing the first single-leg football team in Egypt and participating in international competitions.

Mahmoud Abdel Azim said, on the match program presented by Hani Hathout, on Sada El Balad channel, that he was involved in an accident at a young age, but he refused to give up and develop his talent in playing football, and he began making motivational videos for young people who are experiencing the same suffering as him.

Azima continued that he asked, through Facebook, any Egyptians with one leg who wish to play football to contact him in order to realize their dream of playing football with one leg and forming a team to participate in tournaments.

He continued: “My dream was not limited to this point, but God helped me to become a professional in the Turkish league, and I won the league and cup with Turkish Izmir, and my team currently ranks third in the single-leg football league championship.”

On the other hand, Abdullah Mostafa, the Egyptian one-legged football team player, said that he was among the participants in forming the first single-legged national team in Egypt.

He added: “We contacted the Al-Ahly club and we were on the cusp of forming a team for one leg, but the matter stopped and we contacted the Pyramids Club, which formed the team, and now we are playing in Zamalek, which agreed to our proposal to form a team for one leg, and from next season, we will sign contracts with the White Knight.” ».
