The 37-year-old Djokovic brought gold to Serbia by defeating Spain’s young Turk Carlos Alcaraz 7-6 (6-3), 7-6 (6-2) in the final of the Olympics held on Sunday (August 4, 2024). Djokovic won both sets in high-voltage finals in tiebreakers.

The 16-year-old Djokovic, ace in fitness and experience, grabbed the gold medal against the 21-year-old Alcaraz.
