Djokovic Joins Elite Club with 100th Roland-Garros Win
Paris, France – Novak Djokovic has etched his name into the history books once again, becoming the third player to reach 100 wins at the same Grand Slam tournament after defeating Cameron Norrie in the fourth round at Roland Garros.
Djokovic Joins Nadal and Federer in Exclusive Club
With his 100-16 record at Roland Garros, Djokovic joins Spanish rival Rafael Nadal (112-3) and Swiss legend Roger Federer (105-15 at Wimbledon) in the exclusive club of players with 100 or more wins at a single Grand Slam. Djokovic’s achievement comes in his 19th appearance at the French Open.
Record-Breaking Quarter-Final Appearances
Not only did Djokovic achieve a historic milestone in terms of victories, but he also broke the record for the most quarter-final appearances at a single Grand Slam. He also holds a dominant 99-10 record at the Australian Open and 90-14 at the US Open.
Conquering Quarter-Final Hurdle
Next up for Djokovic is a quarter-final clash against Alexander Zverev. The Serbian leads their head-to-head series 8-5 and will be looking to extend his record of Grand Slam titles.
