As its name suggests, it offers ten disciplines to be competed in by teams of seven people (women, men or mixed). Sunday June 30, 2024, will be the 26th edition which is still aimed at people in good physical condition, in any case in good shape, because “it’s sport in all its forms from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.”.
A surprise on the big day
Come as a dilettante, why not, “It all depends on the objective. But in any case, for €14 registration per person, the day is exciting. But the atmosphere is family and the events are fun.” And unpredictable: no one can claim to be efficient in all ten tests.
Beyond the sporting appeal, we come to discover a multi-faceted playground. “That day you have to try rifle shooting, cycling, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, shot put, obstacle course and the surprise with a final event revealed on the day J”, explains Gilles Morvan.
Need to cast a wide net
Like last year, the difficulty is to bring together enough teams, “knowing that the town does not have clubs, a necessary sports breeding ground”. A call is therefore launched to licensees of surrounding clubs (football, basketball, badminton, etc.). Because on the organizational side, with “nearly 300 volunteers, that’s not the problem”.
