ACB in Dazn: New Schedule and TV Deal Announced

ACB on TV: Dazn’s maladie+ Takes the Reins
The ACB league has signed an exclusive five-year deal with Dazn, ending its long partnership with Movistar+. Starting in the 2025-26 season, Dazn will broadcast the Super League, the Spanish Cup, and the Copa del Rey. Additionally, RTVE and TV3 will share broadcast rights for one game each week.
“This is a significant change for basketball fans in Spain,” said Jorge Garbajosa, ACB President. “With Dazn’s commitment to exclusive content and new platforms, we believe this will bring a new level of excitement and accessibility to our league.”
With Dazn’s new plan for ACB, fans can access all matches live and on-demand for just 9.99 euros per month.
Euroleague Stays with Movistar+, NBA Joins Amazon Prime Video
While ACB moves to Dazn, the Euroleague remains with Movistar+, with an extended agreement until 2031. Basketball fans will still have access to all matches of the four Spanish teams (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Baskonia, and Valencia Basket) and prominent games from other teams.
In a separate but significant moves, the NBA has signed a deal with Amazon Prime Video, ending its partnership with Movistar+. The new agreement will allow Amazon Prime subscribers to access a variety of NBA content, including:
- 87 regular season games
- The final phase of the NBA CUP
- The entire playoffs and NBA Finals
“Amazon’s entrance into the Spanish basketball market is a new challenge,” said an NBA spokesperson. “We’re excited to bring our exciting content to a whole new audience via Amazon Prime Video.”

With RTVE and TV3 broadcasting one game per week and Dazn offering both live and on-demand options, fans will have more choices than ever before to watch their favorite teams. Additionally, fans with Dazn’s Premium plan will have no additional costs to watch ACB matches.
