Conditions of quality and excellence
The label certifies that the club meets the conditions of quality and excellence defined in the specifications of the French Judo Federation in the following areas: the quality of the associative project, the dynamics of development and promotion of the club, the sports offer to its licensed members, the sports results, the quality of the supervision and training of its licensed members.
The club also holds the “Validate Handicapé” label. This approval applies to clubs that welcome, engage with and actively support people with disabilities (mental, motor and sensory) by adapting the practice of judo.
Unique in Béarn: a ju-jitsu course for children
The Coarraze-Nay Judo Club has also just opened a new ju-jitsu course since the start of the school year, reserved for children from 6 to 15 years old. This offer is unique in Béarn. This course is taught by Baptiste Dupont, the Judo Club’s regular teacher, every Monday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

And in October, there will be two members of the Judo club participating in the world championships of ju-jitsu masters (veterans) in Heraklion in Crete: Baptiste Dupont himself in the M1 age category, less than 94 kg, and Thierry Requier in the M4 age category (45 to 49 years), less than 69 kg. It should be remembered that Baptiste Dupont was crowned European champion in his category last May.
