A dispute broke out between a coach Iraqi Olympic team Radhi Shanishil and the Iraqi Football Federation’s National Teams Committee while talking about Iraq’s U-23 preparations for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Our sources confirmed that the dispute may expand in the upcoming Iraqi Federation meeting with Shenaishil and the coach of the first Iraqi national team, Jesus Casas, as this meeting will be decisive in preparing the Olympic team and determining its friendly matches before participating in the Olympics.
The Iraqi team will be the only Arab representative from the Asian continent in the 2024 Paris Olympics, after it finished third in the AFC U-23 Cup by defeating Indonesia 2-1 after overtime.
The Iraqi national team will play a friendly match with its Egyptian counterpart during next June in preparation for the Olympics, and more matches will be secured after coordination with members of the technical staff of the Iraqi Olympic team.
