Carnival Meets Judo: A Day of Fun, Growth, and Togetherness
Carnival is more than just a moment of fun and costumes. For children, it’s an opportunity to overcome shyness, socialize, and feel part of a community. This year, Kodokan Cuneo Judo transformed their Carnival party into a day that embodied the spirit of judo itself: growth, respect, and togetherness.
Judo: More Than Technique
Judo is not just about technique or competitive spirit. At its core, judo is about balance, respect, and understanding that everyone has a role in our growth. On the tatami, we learn to control our energy, to not be guided by impulse, and that our partner is not an enemy but someone who helps us improve.

The Carnival Party: A Day of Growth
On Thursday, 12 February, Kodokan Cuneo Judo hosted their Carnival party. It was a simple, genuine moment where children and teenagers could laugh, play, and move without inhibitions. The party was more than just an event; it was a reflection of the Kodokan spirit: a time to come together in a healthy, joyful way.

The Carnival party was a testament to the club’s philosophy: if the group grows, the individual kids grow, and if the individual kids grow, the group grows. When a child feels part of a team, they bring more enthusiasm to training, listen more, and try harder. This is how a strong environment is built – with growth together, not competition against.
Memories in the Making
At Carnival, there are no differences. Older children play with younger ones, and those who are more confident lend a hand to those who are shyer. The gym becomes an even more familiar place, and these memories serve as anchors for the children, making them feel good, at home, and able to learn and have fun.
