The head coach Erhan Ernak stated that the success of the club should be measured not only in sports achievements, but also in the young people brought to the club and the permanent values left in the city. “Throughout my career, I have always preferred certain projects and tried to participate in those organizations. Even in the club where I worked for the shortest time, I worked for three seasons. The continuity of clubs is basis of their success. Success is measured not only by the children you raise, the values you bring to the city and the beautiful memories you leave in the minds of the audience as well has a vision suitable for these purposes. “I accepted this offer without thinking because I think the young people and fans deserve to experience good things here,” he said.
Ernak also pointed out the importance of the many successes achieved by Çağdaş Bodrum Spor in a short time and said, “Bodrum Çağdaş Bodrum rose to the Super League with a lot of success in a short time. However, it is normal to forget the some things in this rapid rise. What is important is to make this club last and to create a permanent organization here. Only the players, the coach or the organization are not enough for success; must come together. Good athletes and good coaches have been here before; “Now, as part of this organization, we will try to take steps to reach the Super League and maybe the leagues of Europe,” he said.
Ernak also stated that it is difficult to set a clear goal in the current uncertain environment and said, “Currently, there are many teams in the league that have not completed their squads. It is difficult to make an accurate prediction in such an uncertain environment. Is it possible to play good basketball? Does it meet the opponents within the framework of sportsmanship. General Manager Onur Aksoy stated that it is a great excitement for the team to start playing again in Bodrum. “This is our place, our home, Bodrum.
