Ten Italian tourists were injured in an accident near the archaeological site of Machu Picchuin Peru, at 11:15 local time on September 16. The injured, thirty in total, were transported to the hospital in Cuzco, where they are currently hospitalized. They are Luciana Bonfada, 35 (frontal fracture); Angelo Florile, 33 (multiple trauma); Giorgio Quiagliaroli, 47 (fracture of the right leg); Dario Florio, 46 (multiple trauma); Gabriela Cristoforini, 48 (tibia-fibula fracture); Elisabetta Panzeri, 44 (psychosomatic fracture); Paolo Daledo, 38 (trauma to the right leg); Greta Raimondi, 35 (trauma to the right leg); Fabio Ficci, 36 (blow to the right hand); Matteo Vigano, 33 (multiple trauma). The other injured are Chinese, Mexican, Guatemalan, Chilean and Japanese.
