The Bovesan community mourns Mario Ambrosoli, who passed away in recent days. Born in 1948, of a Lombard father and cousin of the most famous honey candy producers, he is remembered in the town as a helpful, intelligent and very lucid man.

Ambrosoli, an antique dealer with a clientele that was not only local, was also involved in the administrative life of the town as a municipal councilor elected in the Christian Democrats: in that role he brought the San Carlo Technical Schools to Boves (he himself had attended the professional school in Saluzzo). He collaborated extensively with the parish for entertainment activities. He was the founder with Luigi Taffuti of Yamato Judo, an association focused on oriental martial arts, especially judo and karate.

He leaves his wife Franca, his brothers Giuseppe and Bruno, his daughters Maresa and Rita and his grandchildren. Today (September 12) at 3 pm the funeral in the parish of San Bartolomeo, then the body will be transferred to the crematorium of Magliano Alpi.
