Bordighera Celebrates Athletic Achievements at Annual Awards Ceremony

Bordighera recently recognized its local athletic talent and dedicated sports clubs at a moving awards ceremony held at the Teatro Giancarlo Golzi, located within the Palazzo del Parco.

The event, brimming with emotion and spectacle, was dedicated to honoring the athletes of the “City of Palms.” It was an emotional moment for the entire Bordigo community, a way to thank those who, with effort and passion, bring the name of the city to the podiums throughout Italy, organizers emphasized.

The ceremony was promoted by Bordighera Sport Hub, with the full patronage of the municipality of Bordighera. The initiative served as a special occasion to acknowledge not only the exceptional talent of the athletes but also their dedication and sporting achievements in representing Bordighera at both provincial and national levels.

Organizers highlighted the importance of sport as a fundamental vehicle of healthy values, acting as a ‘gym for life’ that transmits respect, loyalty, discipline and team spirit.
