CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — No. 17 North Carolina finished its home schedule undefeated Tuesday night, defeating Clemson 67-63 in a hard-fought Atlantic Coast Conference contest. Luka Bogavac led the Tar Heels with a career-high 20 points, including six three-pointers.
Second-Half Surge Propels UNC
Bogavac, who had just three points in the first half, exploded for 17 second-half points, hitting five three-pointers after the break. The Tar Heels improved to 24-6 overall and 12-5 in ACC play, solidifying their position in the conference standings.
The victory also secured a program-record 18th home win for North Carolina, surpassing the previous mark of 17-1 set in the 2011-12 season. It’s Carolina’s first undefeated season at home since 2016-17.

Bogavac then sealed the victory with a pair of clutch free throws, and Seth Trimble secured the rebound on the ensuing Clemson possession, adding a free throw to extend the lead.
