G badminton player Man-Kei To is the first Belgian athlete who is certain of selection for the Paralympic Games in Paris. This summer she will compete in singles in the WH1 class. The 37-year-old from Ninove became European champion last year and won bronze at the World Championships in February.
G-badminton was included in the Paralympic Games program for the first time in Tokyo 2020. The sport is also on the list in Paris, and Man-Kei To will represent our country there.

She ended the qualifying period for the Games in second place in the WH1 class, where athletes in wheelchairs with severe disabilities participate.
Olek Kazimirowski, Managing Director of the BPC and delegation leader for the Paralympic Games, speaks of a new milestone. “This first selection is of course an important step towards the Paralympic Games in Paris. This marks the start of the composition of the team that will represent our country in the French capital this summer.”
This year’s G badminton competitions will take place in Paris from Thursday, August 29 to Monday, September 2 at the Arena Porte de la Chapelle. The BPC will announce more selections in the coming weeks
