However, this outcome would eliminate the Navegantes del Magallanes, who would experience their first elimination in the Regular Round since the 2016/17 campaign.
If the Navigators of Magallanes Win
In this fierce battle, a victory for the Navegantes del Magallanes would open up a range of possibilities for both teams on the last day of the competition, which will be played on Wednesday, December 27.
A win for the filibusters would leave both teams with a record of 24-31, with one more game to play. Magallanes will face Bravos, while Zulia will play against Cardenales.
A victory for Magallanes not only keeps the possibility of a decisive Wednesday alive, but it could also lead to a tiebreaker game for the sixth place if one team wins their last duel and the other loses it.
If both teams finish with a tie at 24-32, the tiebreaker game will be held in Maracaibo, as Zulia reached the 24-win mark first. However, if the tie is at 25-31, the tiebreaker will take place at the José Bernardo Pérez Stadium, as Magallanes won the head-to-head series against Zulia.
