The Georgian team protected a thin lead from the last quarter, closing the game on an 11-2 run. Juancho Hernangómez, Spain’s leading scorer with 13 points, admitted, “They played much better than us and they deserved to win.” Georgia will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in its next match on Saturday.
