The club has actually bought a second-hand parquet floor that was recently installed at the Palais des sports de Candresse. “We finished during the holidays in Dax,” said the president of the club, Corinne Dulouat, also first deputy of the town hall of Candresse and community advisor.

“After climbing NM2, we got a waiver from the federation to continue playing in our room, but it was only for a season,” the president continued. So we are looking for a parquet floor. After studying different options, we settled on a floor that the Le Havre town hall sold at auction. »

After winning them over, we need to look at delivery and installation. “It’s a lot of logistics to get here,” assures Corinne Dulouat. It’s time to lay the parquet floor.

For better quality, strips of shock-absorbing foam are carefully placed under the boards. More than thirty volunteers don overalls to help and the club also relies on the support of partner companies. “This will provide relief to all our licensees, not just the elderly. Organisms suffer less,” concluded Corinne Dulouat. This is confirmed by the first feedback from the players who returned to training on the newly installed floor since Monday August 19.

About thirty volunteers participated in the installation of the parquet floor.
