Báez Halts Losing Streak in Thrilling Comeback
Sebastián Báez, the World No. 37, ended his seven-match losing streak with a gripping comeback victory against Nicolai Budkov Kjaer at the Nordea Open in Bastad.
Down 0-1 in sets and 3-5 in the final set, Báez battled back to defeat the young Norwegian, who is ranked No. 298, by a score of 3-6, 6-2, 7-5. The match lasted two hours as the Argentine displayed resilience and determination.

Navone and Ugo Carabelli Secure Second Round Spots
- Mariano Navone, fresh from winning the ATP Challenger Tour in Braunschweig, defeated Tomás Barrios Vera 7-5, 7-5 and will face compatriot Francisco Cerúndolo next.
- Camilo Ugo Carabelli, ranked No. 59, completed his match against Cristian Garin, winning 6-4, 6-4, and will play Botic van de Zandschulp next.
