Moral de Calatrava Athletes Shine at Provincial Badminton Qualifiers

Moral de Calatrava hosted the final qualifying test for the provincial school badminton final, the second in the eastern zone. Athletes representing both CEIP Manuel Clemente and the Moral City Council demonstrated exceptional skill and determination.

Strong Showing in Eastern Zone Competition

A total of 85 young athletes participated in the event, categorized by age groups: under 11, under 13, under 15, and under 17. The competition format included both group stages and a main draw with consolation rounds. Participating entities included CEIP Manuel Clemente (Moral) and the municipalities of Moral, Aldea del Rey, Llanos del Caudillo, Miguelturra, and Villanueva de los Infantes.

Qualifying for the Provincial Final

The event determined the top four players in each category within the eastern zone, who will now advance to the provincial school final, scheduled to be held in Moral de Calatrava on April 19.

Upcoming Southern Zone Competition

The next stage of the provincial badminton competition will seize place on March 8, with the second day of the southern zone qualifiers being held in Chillón.
