Badminton Fever in Khensa: “Smashing Barriers” Tournament Concludes
Tournament Recap
The 2nd Winter Challenge Badminton Tournament, themed “Smashing Barriers,” came to a close on December 20, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Community Hall in Khensa. Organized by the Badminton Association Khensa (BAK), the event attracted 75 participants across six categories: 85+, 95+, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Under-13 Boys Singles, and Under-17 Boys Singles.
Winners and Runners-up
- Under-13 Boys Singles: Champion – Chubamayang Imsong, Runner-up – Imtinungsang Longkumer
- Under-17 Boys Singles: Champion – Wacha, Runner-up – Arkutong
- 85+: Champion – T Imlisunep Ao, Runner-up – Temsuyanger
- 95+: Champion – P Nilakanta Singh, Runner-up – Imtichiba Kichu
- Men’s Doubles: Winners – Akumsanen Jamir & Imnawapang, Runners-up – Tiayanger & Wapongsen
- Mixed Doubles: Winners – Lanuakum Imsong & Imlikumla, Runners-up – Kipangwala Longkumer & Imtichiba Kichu

Closing the Event
The closing ceremony included a tournament synopsis presented by the Chief Referee, followed by remarks from Imlitemsu, Convenor of the Organising Committee.
