LVS Youth Badminton: Triumphant at Regional Championships, Eyes on National Stage

The pride of their club, medallists of the Regional Youth Championship, look to the future with confidence and ambition.

Recapping the Regional Triumph

Over 115 young badminton enthusiasts converged in Marvejols (Lozère) for the Regional Youth Championship this year. The Salanquais flying team (LVS), representing their club and departmental committee, was well-represented with 12 qualifiers across various age categories and events. The commitment and hard work of these young athletes, their supervisors, and families culminated in an impressive medal haul.

Looking Ahead to the National Stage

The success at the regional level has set the stage for the LVS youth badminton team to qualify for the first rounds of the French championships. With no time to rest, the team is also gearing up for the second young Salanquais tournament on February 14-15 in Torreilles, and the brewing of accession to the elite youth circuit in Beaucouzé near Angers for Ruben Tessier and Louise Singh-Tejinder.
