Quito’s Interactive Science Museum Hosts Baby Yoga for Bonding and Learning
Quito, Ecuador – The Interactive Museum of Science (MIC) invites families to enjoy a unique activity designed to promote healthy development and strengthen family bonds: Baby Yoga. This session will take place on September 20 at 11 am in the Awawa Sala.
Strengthening Love Ties through Baby Yoga
The museum aims to generate significant experiences for babies and their caregivers through this activity. Baby Yoga offers a simple, accessible, and pleasant tool to foster communication, emotional well-being, and love ties from the earliest moments of life.
Through conscious breathing, soft stretching, body games, and affective interaction breaks, parents and guardians can connect with their little ones in a fun and engaging way. The class will be led in small groups, respecting each child’s individual rhythm. Participants will also receive simple guidelines to continue practicing at home.
A Specially Designed Space for Early Childhood
The activity is open to children aged 3 to 5 years and will take place in a space tailored for early childhood. The session will feature soft musical accompaniment, sensory elements, and a sequence that encourages mobility, calm, and the link between parents and children.
The class aims to reflect on the importance of early accompaniment in parenting, emphasizing listening, full attention, and the creation of safe and welcoming environments.
