Five players from the club participate in the under-17 category

New weekend of competition for the young players of the Auria Bádminton Club, traveling to Alicante to participate in the N6 El Campello Master, a tournament that is held in the sub’13 and sub’17 categories. The Lanzarote club will have the participation of five players from the under-17 category, who will compete individually and also in the doubles category.
The N6 El Campello Master is held on Saturday at the El Campello Municipal Pavilion, in Alicante, and it is a competition endorsed by the Federation of the Valencian Community of Badminton. The Auria Bádminton Club expedition will be made up of Adrián Carabali, Graciela Müggler, Rinad Morales, Martina Negrín and Sofía Gómez, players who participated in the TOP TTR Granadilla last weekend. And Miguel Barbado will accompany the team as coach.
In the men’s individual category, Adrián Carabali starts as the number 8 seed in the tournament and has been placed in group H. In the first phase of the competition he will face Feliu Terol (Club Bádminton Xátiva) and Peio Olmos (Drop Valencia) . The Auria Badminton Club player won the silver medal in the TOP TTR Granadilla last weekend.
In the women’s under-17 category, Graciela Müggler will face Ángela Viray (San Fernando Valencia), number one seed, and Olga Chorques (Enguera) in the group stage. For her part, Rinad Morales will face the number two seed of the tournament, Andrea Mingarro (Huesca) and Victoria Burgos (Ciudad de Villalba).
As for the rest of the members of the Auria Bádminton Club, Martina Negrín will face Vega Calatayud (Enguera), number three seed, and Saray Dijmarescu (Onil) in the group stage. And Sofía Gómez completes the club’s participation in the women’s under-17 category, having as rivals Jimena Alonso (Albatros), seed number 4, and Ivayla Valentinova (Enguera).
The Auria Badminton Club players also participate in the doubles modality in the N6 El Campello Master. Adrián Carabali will play the mixed doubles competition with Leitza Olmos, a Drop Valencia player. And in the women’s doubles category, Graciela Müggler will partner with Martina Negrín, and Rinad Morales and Sofía Gómez form the other couple in the club.
